Overview
This policy explains how the imcore website (balala.im) and online demo (demo.balala.im) handle visitor information. It does not cover imcore instances you self-host — see the next section.
Data in the self-hosted product
imcore is delivered as binaries and deployed on your own servers/network. Your end users' messages and personal data live entirely in your infrastructure; you are the data controller for that data. imcore (the vendor) does not access, store, or process it.
What we collect
Website: server access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, for security/operations), strictly necessary functional cookies, and Baidu Tongji analytics cookies used for traffic and conversion measurement (see "Third parties"). Online demo: a transient guest identity and session data issued for the demo. Sales contact: the name, contact details, and inquiry content you send us by email / WeChat.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiries and to operate and secure the website and demo. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
The website and demo are hosted behind a reverse proxy on [cloud provider / our VPS]. The website uses Baidu Tongji (operated by Beijing Baidu Netcom Science Technology Co., Ltd.) to collect anonymized usage statistics (page views, click events, referral channels); the service sets cookies in your browser and transmits this data to Baidu for processing. You can block it by disabling cookies or using a content blocker — the site remains fully usable. Beyond this and what hosting requires, we do not share visitor personal information with third parties.
Retention
Access logs are kept for a limited period as needed for operations; demo data is transient and cleared periodically; sales correspondence is kept until the inquiry closes or as required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting [legal / privacy email].
